April 22, 205 To Whom It May Concern, Kayla Providence has been an intern in my pre-kindergarten classroom for the past three months. The classroom consists of children ages four and five years of age, and of varying abilities. Kayla worked closely with a lead teacher, teacher assistant to the classroom, and an assistant for a child with special needs within the classroom. While interning, Kayla planned and implemented several age appropriate lessons, including a science experiment, story-telling lesson and a lesson on proper hand washing and hygiene. Her activities were well thought out and she was well prepared. Throughout her placement, Kayla displayed qualities of a successful teacher in an early childhood classroom. She has a wonderful commanding voice which captures the children’s attention and a lovely rapport with the children. I believe that Kayla would be a wonderful addition to any early childhood setting. Sincerely, Cortunee Catherine Leggue Pre-kindergarten Teacher, St. Mary’s School 2 Powers St Canton, NY 13617 (315)386-3572
