Conducted laboratory research from June 2013-May 2014 on the formation and secretion of DAF28 in C. elegans in order to prevent cancer
o Entered this project in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) Competition
and the Delaware Valley Science Fair
o Achieved: First Award, and Senior High Directors Award at PJAS competition, Third
Place at Delaware Valley Science Fair
Conducted laboratory research from October 2012-May 2013 on the impact of heat shock factor-1
in C. elegans with polyglutamine aggregates which are characteristic of Huntingtons Disease
o Entered this project in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) Competition
