Humans have two sets of teeth
You start off with primary teeth then permanent
Development for both sets of teeth are similar
Teeth erupt/grow in parallels
Development of teeth begins during the second trimester

First twenty teeth begin to grow around age three
Adult teeth begin to grow at six years
Adults should have 32 permanent teeth
Permanent teeth take longer to grow

Premolars are also called bicuspids
Premolars are used for chewing
Molars are used for grinding food
Wisdom tooth is also called third molar
Third molars are last to develop
