Activity 2: Hammer Passing

Rules of the activity:

Students will practice the hammer
pass following the cues with 1 partner
that they will get to choose. They will
be very spread apart for safety.
Students will watch the demo of the
hammer throw from my computer.

Cues:
1. Hold in dominant hand
2. Similar grip to forehand
3. Release upwards
4. Cock wrist back when arm is back, then
flick wrist above head with disk at
flatter angle

continue passing
Extend down: pass closer
Transition- Teacher will blow whistle
once to stop this pass practice and
allow students to see a demo of the
forehand pass

Activity 3: Ultimate Frisbee game

Rules of the activity:

Students will now play a game of

Ultimate Frisbee. This game has the
cones as 2 end zones on the field
across the football field horizontally. To
score the team will need to pass it past
the end zone after at least 5 passes
were thrown by your team. This is a
sport that is self-refereed, and teacher
will watch to make sure games are
fairly played.
