Experiment 19 - The Shift Register II

The design of a shift register is very similiar to that of the counter from the experiment 15.
You also need two C-MOS IC's 4013 in order to build a 4-bit shift register.
With the circuit shown, you become familiar with the operation of a shift register.

In computers shift registers are used everywhere where serial data needs to be converted into
parallel data and vice versa. But for this you find more information in a separate topic.
But even in such seemingly everyday applications, such as a running light in a shopping
window, you find a shift register.
This is for the moment the last experiment in this introduction to flip-flops.
