myself or anyone else down. Have held captain positions in every team sport I have played, awarded for

Summer 2014
Youth councilor for groups of 20 children from 6-12 years of age. Through team sports and activities
responsible for teaching children the importance of the friendships, the outdoors, and physical activity.
Worked 40 hours per week.
Trained and certified lifeguard. Served as a full-time Lifeguard at the Taylor Bend YMCA in Western Branch.
Worked 50-55 hour weeks and worked double shifts 3 out of the 6 days each week.
Summer 2011
Answered phone calls, scheduled appointments, scanned hard copy patient records and uploaded them on
to the office servers to enable a smooth transition to a new office and make the records more accessible.
Responsible for maintaining full accountability of the cash and credit card receipts and maintaining a clean
and presentable workstation. Learned how to engage a broad and diverse customer base.
Summer 2014
Requested by a local youth soccer league to lead a 5-day soccer camp and coach a team of 12 year old
boys in a tournament. I taught them plays and positions, conditioned them, and led them to win the camps
tournament.
2013 to Present
Member of the Big Brother/Big Sister Organization of Harrisonburg, Virginia. Volunteer two hours each week
with a Little Brother assisting him to read and complete his homework at Smithland Elementary School.
2013 to present
Selected from a group of over 200 aspirants to become a member of a nationally recognized professional
fraternity for Health Sciences, Kinesiology, and Dance Majors at James Madison University.
2012 to Present
Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Western Branch High School Womens Varsity Soccer Team. During
college breaks and during the spring semester, assist the head coach in the execution of team practices by
coaching ball control drills and conditioning exercises. During games record team statistics and provide
players insights on techniques to improve their performance.
2012
Selected over 464 members of senior class as the 2012 Scholar Athlete also inducted into the High School
Hall of fame.
