December 22, 2008 ~ For Immediate Release to our Worldwide Reps Announcement Product Discontinuation - $4000 > / S4000T The Models S4000C and S4000T Intelligent Sensors were introduced in 2001 and have been very successful. We introduced the new Intelligent Sensors featuring HART (S4000CH and S4000TH) earlier this year. These units are also backwards compatible with the legacy products. Consequently, we are discontinuing the S4000C and $4000T effective January 1, 2009. Alter this date, we will not be accepting new orders for the legacy products. As with all our discontinued models, we will continue to support the installed base of products through our service repair team as long as parts are commercially available. ‘The IR2100/IRFMD is also coming close to discontinuation. Please remember to quote the 1R400/IR4000 for all infrared quotes unless the customer requires benzene or % by volume methane. The IR2100/IRFMD has been removed from the 2009 price list and all quotes/orders should be for the newly released products (except for benzene and % by volume methane).
