Scientists in room 20 observing our seed growth!

Writing- by Mercedes
Weve been still working on our characters and
their problems. We are still working on Realistic
Fiction. We are adding a strong ending to our
stories [and making sure our story has a lesson].
Weve been looking at some realistic fiction
books, like Mr. Putter & Tabby too!
Ms Gade Sidenote: We are using some cool
story planners that help us decide on a
character, problem, and solution with a few
details to make our story writing a bit more
natural.

Math by Rosita
We are still working on three digit addition and
subtraction, but now we are also working on
story problems. I like how it was challenging
said Micah & Rylie. Kowen said I like how the
problems were mixed up like takeaway and
addition.

Reading by Rylie
We are working on our nonfiction book clubs.
This week we noticed if we had a connection to
any of our books. This week we also working on
having talks [conversations] about what we
learned and asking more questions.
Ms. Gade Sidenote: For interactive read aloud,
we read A Ball for Daisy by Chris Raschka. This
book had NO WORDS. It was so fun to share
our thinking about the plot, character, and
story without words. Some of our thoughts
were very different!
