Final Reflection
There are a few new things I learned after taking this course. There are some thing I had
never done before, such as blogging and clustering. These two exercises helped the flow of my
writing just by making me write more. I built a website and did critical thinking in my previous
writing class last semester, but this class increased these skills. Critical thinking and building a
website are skills that can be improved through repetition, and thats exactly what this class did.
A software I had never used before this class was Prezi. Making a Digital Flow Chart helped me
learn the basics of how to use Prezi.
I definitely think some of the things I learned will help my education at UNC Charlotte.
Increasing my critical thinking skills will be extremely useful in other classes for a variety of
assignments. Building a website and the Prezi software could also be extremely useful in the
future. Knowing how to make a Prezi or a website can be applied to other projects, and can be a
useful method to present information. Clustering could be useful if Im having a difficult time
starting a research paper for another class. I do wish we could have learned more about Prezi.
Prezi seems like an extremely useful presentation tool, but the software was tricky to work with.
A little more time in class working with the software would have been useful, and would have
increased my skills with Prezi.

I would say that I deserve an eighty-seven (high B) in this class as a final grade. I learned
new things in this course and improved skills I already had, which is what a class is supposed to
do. I gained a full understanding of all assignments I completed, and understood the purpose of
each assignment. I missed only one class period, so attendance was not an issue. I participated in
a few class room discussions by contributing my opinion. During peer involved activities I
worked well with others, and tried my best to accomplish whatever the goal of the assignment
was. The only reason I do not deserve an A is because I failed to submit a few assignments.
There are a variety of reasons that happened, but regardless of my excuses I think that should
have a negative impact on my final grade. By the end of an assignment I had an understanding of
what the point of that assignment was. I also learned new things and improved a variety of skills,
but because I failed to submit all assignments on time I would say that I deserve a high B.
