BIRTH:
John Adams was born on October 30,1735 in Quincy, MA.

CHILDHOOD:
He was raised in farmland owned by his family. Throughout John Adams
life, he felt a deep attachment for the Adams farm. His father was his role
model in life.

EDUCATION:
John was taught to read by his father while he a was still a young child.
John attended a series of schools. His father had dreams of John
graduating from Harvard. John's school work improved and he entered
Harvard in 1751.He then graduated in 1775.

ROLE IN THE AMERICAN


REVOLUTION:
During the 1770s, he was a delegate to the Continental Congress. In the
1780s, he served as a diplomat and helped negotiate the Treaty of Paris
(1783), which officially ended the American Revolutionary War

SIGNIFICANT
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
1. He became the second president of the United States.
2. He was on the committee that wrote the Declaration of Independence.
