coercion to force women, men and children to engage in commercial sex
against their will

Title: the reality of human trafficking

You see due to the Medias portrayal or lack of information provided,
many U.S citizens seem to believe human trafficking is merely a horror
movie and only occurs in places far away, foreign countries. Well the
harsh reality is that it also occurs right here in our homes.
Types of human trafficking
Another form of pimping/human trafficking is where the traffickers sell
women and children through websites such as Backpage.
*Backpage is a website where people showcase and advertise sex in
exchange for money.
In Fact: In 2014, the National Human Trafficking Resource Center
hotline, operated by Polaris, received reports of 3,598 sex trafficking
cases inside the United States. Find more hotline statistics here.
