ABSTRACT

Instant noodle is one of fast-foods and has good taste and low-price, it
makes societies like it. Contrary with all of benefits found in instant noodles,
instant noodle has a bad impact to everyone consuming it frequently. It can lead
to the obesity, demage the stomatch for who has ulcer, and it can be more
dangerously when it is consumed in long time, and lead to cancer and death. This
research aimed at knowing the Overview students Knowledge and Attitude of
Pharmaceutical and Food Analyst at Abdurrab University at the third grade toward
instant noodles. The kind used of this research was quantitative with crosssectional approach. The population was all of the students of Pharmaceutical and
Food Analyst at Abdurrab University at the third grade. Samples were 59 students
taken from total sampling technique. This research was conducted at the
Department of D III of Pharmaceutical and Food Analyst at Abdurrab University
on March 3-15 2014. The data was analyzed by editing, coding, and tabulating
using Univariate analysis.
The results of research showed that good
knowledgeable respondents were 19 respondents (32.2%), enough knowledgeable
respondents were 30 respondents (50.9%), bad attitude respondents were 10
respondents (16.9%), good attitude respondents were 32 respondents (54.2%), and
the bad attitude respondents were 27 respondents (45.8%). It can be concluded
that the majority of the third-grade of students of Pharmaceutical and Food
Analyst at Abdurrab University toward instant noodles has enough knowledge and
positive attitude.
