Summary
I am currently a student at the College of DuPage double majoring in Elementary and
Special Education, specializing in learning and behavioral issues. Expected to transfer
to Lewis University for the 2016 academic year.
Projects
Pray for Boston

[April 2013]

Co- founded Pray for Boston that raised $450 for the ONE fund in Boston that provided
aid for the victims of the Boston marathon bombing. Designed, produced and sold
shoelaces which were then sold at local running events, and schools. In addition,
worked with a local newspaper to help spread information about the charity.
Stand Up For Japan

[March 2011- June 2011]

Founded stand up for Japan with two other members that raised money that benefited
the victims of the 2011 tsunami and earthquake disaster in Japan by designing,
producing and selling t-shirts. After several weeks of selling shirts through local schools
and churches, we raised a total of $1,500. The money was then donated to the
American Red Cross towards relief efforts in Japan
Volunteer Experience
Assistant Cross Country and track Coach

[August 2010- Current]

Assisted in coaching the St. Cletus cross-country and track and field team for grades
fifth through eighth. Taught athletes proper running form, and various stretches and
cardio workouts. Helped mentor athletes through assigning leadership positions
throughout the team. Created a team roster for every meet that placed athletes talents
and preferences into consideration.
Books on the L

[December 20th, 2014]

Through the partnership of Open Books and the Leo Burnett add agency four volunteers
including myself distributed over 500 free books on the CTA Holiday L train to help
promote literacy and reading in children.
Tommys Kids Camp
[June 2014]
Volunteered for one full week in June at a Bereavement camp for children between the
ages of 5-13 who have recently experienced the loss of a close family member.
Assisted in scheduling activities, leading group members, and counseling campers.
