Abstract

This applied dissertation was designed to examine critically the workflow of interstate teachers
transfer and suggest an efficient workflow to the Daily Division School Management. The time,
cost, quality services and transparency are the important key for this suggestion. The BPR has
been successfully implemented in various areas that provide massive impact during the
implementation.
The teachers in Malaysia facing many difficulties during the interstate transfer as discussed in
many newspaper in Malaysia. The issues highlighted by the newspaper are no proper method
used in interstate transfer, no proper or valued guide line involved and involvement of syndicate
who take advantages during the interstate teacher transfer period.
Therefore BPR will implement to review the current model , evaluation time , cost involved and
current process of workflow (as is) and suggest the better efficient new process of workflow (to
be) in the Daily Division School Management. The suggested process and new model have
many advantages such as reduce the waiting period of application from 30 days to less than 14
days, accept mutual transfer (suka sama suka ) and provide the availability of vacancy in
advance.
Qualitative methodology used for this dissertation. Data will be collected by interviewing the
person in-charge (top management) and focus on a small group of individuals who directly
involved in interstate teacher transfer.

Last but not least the proposed model and process will give big impact and massive changes in
Daily Division School Management. It will satisfy the teacher that involve in interstate teacher
transfer.
