Summary
My name is Tyler Sasabuchi, I am a graduating senior of Buckingham Charter Magnet High School in
Vacaville, California. I have some work experience, I had a job as a Bagger/front end employee at
Raley's Grocery, and have been heavily involved with the local 4-H program for the past few years.
Through this program I have gained invaluable skills concerning public speaking, presentation,
outreach, ethics, and many others. I have served on numerous councils through this program at the city
and county level, helping to shape the decisions and politics of the program. I have immense interest in
various scientific fields, and am currently volunteering at a local elementary school to teach science
lessons, for three classrooms.

I am currently enrolled at BCMHS here in Vacaville,and set to graduate in June of 2015. I am focusing
most of my studies into fields such as graphic design and works, filmography, fine art, and
photography. I also have a vested interest in the science and history fields, and am a year ahead of the
suggested courses for the junior grade level in both science and mathematics, taking Human Anatomy/
Physiology and Trigonometry.

As a courtesy clerk, I was tasked with bagging and handling groceries for customers, cleaning and maintaining
various facilities, and helping to make sure the facility runs smoothly. I worked with other employees to stock
shelves and maintain the functionality of the store, and aimed to improve the overall customer experience. The
job had a strong focus on adaptability, efficiency, and customer service. I ended up leaving the employment due
to health concerns on my part, due to blood sugar complications and medicine dosage changes (Type I Diabetes).
Solano County 4H Executive Council

My position on this council is to keep the rest of the council and its members up to date on the goings ons of our
local clubs, as well as helping to coordinate and chair events that our area is hosting for the current year. I am
also very involved outside of the direct area of our club, helping to put together and run more than four events,
both city and county wide, this year alone. This included a photography contest, Solano County Fashion Revue,
Presentation Day, and events targeted to allow the general public to experience the 4H program in hands on
manners.

officers and the rest of the club, as well as stepping up in place of the President, should they be unable to attend a

Hobbies & Interests


Many of my hobbies or activities relate to artistic fields, such as graphic design, photography, film, or
writing. I have been working to develop all of these skills over the past few years, with my greatest
success being a book called "The Stealing Snake", which I authored and later published. I have also
been recognized for my other work, which is coming along. I have a high interest in numerous
scientific fields, from biology/anatomy to astronomy and quantum mechanics. I am currently taking
physics, and am planning to go back and teach myself more in-depth physics and the basic anatomy of
humans and various animals.
