Synopsis
Thiscourseexaminestheprinciplesandtheoriesoftheinternationalaspectsofcorporatefinance,investingandoperating
multinationalorganizationsinaglobaleconomyandenvironment.Itintendstoequipstudentswithtoolsandmethodstostudyand
analyzeinternationalfinanceissuesandproblems.Thiscoursewillcoverforeignexchangeandexchangeratedetermination,
multinationalfinancingandinvestmentdecisions,currencyriskmanagement,currencyderivatives,principalsofhedgingand
internationalcapitalmarketsandportfolioinvestment.Currentandhistoricalpolicyissuesandhowtheyrelatetothefinancial
marketsarediscussedthroughoutthecourse.
Objectives

1. Beabletodiscussandcomparetheframeworkoftheinternationalmonetarysystemandpointouttheirdifferences,similarities,
