Week 5

In week 5 we discussed how to create an online presence via

routes such as social media, blogs, JavaScript and content
management systems (CMS). I discovered that a CMS is a
computer application that allows publishing, editing and
modifying of the content such as WordPress. Also this week I
finished the second half of my report on the evaluation of the
website toysrus. The second topic I discussed was first
impressions in which I analysed the look and feel and the depth
of site. Again Ward (2006) and Badre (2002) were very useful
for this topic they helped me gain a deeper understanding of
how a website should look, to attract the attention of customers
and make them stay on the site.
