SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN, UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO CALS, MOSCOW, ID
Monitor and conduct 10-12 hours weekly of posting and sharing of University of Idaho Extension Social Media
Sites/Accounts. Assist with University of Idaho Extension and CALS marketing promotion, plus University of Idaho
alumni/donor events.
Report to full time staff of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and work in junction as member of the CALS
Advancement Development Team.
Duties included: Installing/Repairing Sprinkler Irrigation Systems, Plant Warranty for previous customers, Complete
Landscape Remodels of yards and water features, Weed Prevention/Control, Annual/Seasonal Pruning, Equipment
Maintenance, and Tools/Parts Inventory.
Reported to company owner and other foreman daily. Managed landscaping crew of 2-4 to preform weekly landscaping
jobs/jobsites.
Duties included: Equipment Maintenance, Property/Building Maintenance, Assisted with Brandings and Cattle Vaccinations,
Caring for Livestock, and Crop Irrigation.
Reported to company owners daily. Had free rein and full trust of owners when absent from the ranch.

Arrange and conduct more than 21 events yearly for the AGR fraternity with surrounding Greek community and local
community.
Act as risk manager for all house activities and oversee strategic planning meetings.

Attended more than 20 leadership conferences, provided state wide leadership to 4,000 Idaho FFA members.
Designed and facilitated more than 40 conferences based upon agriculture, student success and leadership.

Attended more than 10 district/state activities, provided leadership to 700 members of the Boise Valley
FFA District.
Arranged and conducted more than 5 district oriented FFA activities across the Treasure Valley, and did
presentations of awards.

Preformed more than 12 chapter oriented FFA activities across the City of Meridian and educated
elementary students and local community about modern agriculture and its importance.
