A Weird Sisters Shopping Bonanza!
Hungry? In Act 4 Scene 1, the three Weird Sisters return and theyre cooking up a feast. The Sisters are pretty busy, though, what with tricking
Macbeth with catchy rhymes and veiled truths. They need someone to make a grocery run for them and youve been selected! Lucky you, right?
Below, youll find a series of clues that reveal the location of the necessary ingredients. Solve the clues, grab the ingredient, and move on to the
next item. Got it?
Full Witch Recipe from Act 4.1

Fillet of a fenny snake,

In the cauldron boil and bake.
1. Eye of newt and 2. toe of frog,
3. Wool of bat and 4. tongue of dog,
5. Adders fork and 6. blind-worms sting,
7. Lizards leg and 8. owlets wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a 9. hell-broth boil and bubble.

10. Scale of dragon, 11. tooth of wolf,

Witches' mummy, maw and gulf
Of the ravined salt-sea shark,
12. Root of hemlock digged i' th' dark,
Liver of blaspheming Jew,

Clue
1. Ever hear of a Newt? Its in the Salamander family and is amphibious. Remember what
amphibious means? If you were a soon-to-be-one-eyed Newt, where might your choice residence
be?
2. Frogs like lily pads and ponds. If youre a frog, where are you and your toe calling home?
3. Bats like to hang out in caves and grottos. Believe it or not, LHS has its very own grotto, although
you might know thats what its called. Find the bat and his wool in the LHS grotto.
4. Did you know that last spring, a dog hung out at LHS for a special event? True story, bro. Youll
find his tongue where he used to be. Need another hint? The event had something to do with hair
color and music.
5. An Adder is a kind of snake. So whats his fork? Youd likely find it near these classrooms.
6. Do you know what a blind-worms sting means? At this location, you can look up the answer.
7. If the Weird Sisters take the leg of the lizard, poor old Lizard will need to use this if he wants to
travel from his English class to his History class.
8. Does an owls hoot count as singing? Because the owl in question and his wing are hanging out
in this spot.
9. Im sure more than a few hell-broths have been made here. I mean, were talking about high
school cooking, right?

10. To find the scale of a dragon, youll have to locate where dragons hang out. Clearly, dragons
perch above cities, all condescending and arrogant. Actually, this might be why the hottest place
in the school is here at the beginning and ending of summer. Now it just wanted for those
confusing formulas
11. The Wolf Im thinking of has pretty strait teeth. Dont bother him during class, though. Youll
find his teeth outside of his den.
12. At one point, hemlock could be purchased from an Apothecary. Who in our school would have
the same skills to as an Apothecary? Its got to be someone who can accurately mix various
elements.

13. Gall of goat means the throw-up of a goat. Goats are pretty classy animals on the whole and
Im sure theyd insist on throwing up in only the finest student bathrooms at LHS. Youll find your
Goat puke there.
14. Yew is a type of tree. If you were in Mr. Womacks English class and wanted to find the closest
slip of a yew tree, where might you go?
15. A tigers cauldron doesnt mean a pot. It means his intestines. Thats right, youre going to
need the intestines of a tiger. Before you take on the beast, youd better get in a work out and
pump some iron.
16. The shopping list from the Weird Sisters comes to an end with this final ingredient. This
baboon has to bleed which means hell need to head here right afterwards.
17. Because youre a pretty thoughtful individual, you decide to add a little fizz to the Brew. Youll
find this ingredient in the only vending machine accessible from the hallways of LHS
18. You wont be able to access this last ingredient until you return to where it all began. See you
