I am currently a junior at San Francisco State University with a major in Business

Administration concentration in Information System. I have completed courses in Database
Creation and Management, Intro to Spreadsheets and Word for Windows I & II which helped me
develop computer skills that can be utilized for most of the projects. Moreover, my retail sales
experience helped me develop interpersonal skills necessary in the workplace and has prepared
me to be an effective employee.

After hearing about 2015 Computing Sciences Summer Student Program at Lawrence Berkeley
National Laboratory, I would like to apply for a position as a student assistant. I know you are
looking for students majoring in Computational Science, Computer Science, Mathematics and
related science and engineering field. Although my major concentrates in Information System, I
believe some of the projects students at Berkeley Lab have worked in meet my qualifications.
