Carolyne created engaging lessons using technology by creating flip charts for Math, Reader’s Workshop, and Science. She modeled and taught students how to deepen their understanding of the author's message in both Non-Fiction and Fiction. Carolyne made sure the students understood math concepts by doing effective math routines. Carolyne was very knowledgeable, patient and confident in using technology that she was able to teach students how to use devices that went with the Promethean Smart Board. Carolyne is very knowledgeable in all subject areas. She teaches so all students can a reach their highest potential and encourages them to ty new and different strategies. | have so much confidence in her taking over the class that I felt the class was always in good hands when 1 ‘was absent I knew my students would not miss any learning beeause Carolyne made sure students continued the learning so they could meet the standards by the end of the year. I highly recommend her for a teaching position. Carolyne Cohen has a good rapport with teachers and with the students, She provides a positive and safe environment.
