The ACME Arms Company has created a run rocket that actual works.

The
companys claim suggests that new rocket V has a success rate of 80%. Wil.E
Coyote wanted to test the claim with a sample of a 100 rockets and found out that
the new rockets had a success rate of 60% which ignited after many failed attempts
at capturing the Roadrunner. Test an appropriate hypothesis and state your
conclusion. Use an Alpha value of 0.05.
Ho: p=.80
Ha: p is different than .80
-Simple random sample, given
-Independence of data, assumed
-n1<10%
-n1p1>10 n2p2>10
Were P1 is the true population proportion of the new rockets.

Z= .80-.60 divided by the square root of .80(1-.80)/100

Z=-5
P=5.74x10^-7
Because my P-value is small I reject the null hypothesis, therefore I have evidence
to reject the companies claim of the success rate of the new rockets.
