DEALER

Carry out operating requirements, as summarized in the Oil / Water Separator

Construct separator in accordance with Imperial Oil standards and regulatory


requirements and obtain required permits / Certificates of Approval.

Train Dealer and Operations Advisor on principles of oil/water separator and outline

(NOTE: Certificate of Approval to be co-signed by the designate from the Sales

Manage sampling and submission of data to regulatory agencies as may be


required by regulation, permits or Certificates of Approval.

Maintain all records regarding compliance and data collection.

Educate Dealer on sampling requirements / record keeping.

Co-Sign required permit / Certificate of Approval.

Train Dealer

Inspect oil / water separator operation and effluent quality when on site.

Provide technical support, as required, after commissioning.

Monitor effluent sample results as may be required by regulation, permits, or


Certificates of Approval.

Analyze separator effluent and take corrective measures as required.

Arrange annual clean out of separators (both product and sediment) using
approved methods and ensure disposal of product / sediment by approved
method.

Maintain records of all clean-outs.

Audit compliance with regulatory and operating requirements

Develop separator standards and changes to ensure compliance with regulatory


requirements (e.g., remote separator shut-off valves, secondary / tertiary
