The Blood Tree
The Blood Tree
Buxton Manor has always been a strange a mysterious place. It has fed
the fires of imagination for generations of youngsters in the little southern
English town of Kings Hill ever since its unnatural time began. Its secret is
a dark and foreboding one, and history has never once given it away.
Legend has it that an evil French duke had taken the area by force
somewhere between 646 and 650 A.D., that he had a mighty fortress built
and that it foundations were made entirely of English bones. Created
within the unstable realms of the Game of Chance, bathed in the vile hate
of Pezzarius, nothing but pure evil resides upon the lesser of the three hills
of Kings Hill and no good will ever come of Buxton Manor, for it sits at the
gates of hell.
It is a legend, no more than a story of old. But then sometimes, just
sometimes, a legend returns in search of its creator.
