    InreflectingbackontheFallDreamItImplementation,Ifeelthatanumberofmykey
    implementationobjectiveshavebeenaccomplished.Studentsingrades58haveasolid
    understandingoftheEngineeringDesignProcess.StudentsingradesK2wereexposedto
    sensoryexplorationsofscientific,technologyandengineeringconcepts.Bytheendofthe
    secondquarter,studentsingrades35wereintroducedtotheEngineeringDesignProcess
    andhavebeenexposedtomultiple,smallengineeringchallenges.Thereseemstobea
    collectiveexcitementandengagementaboutSTEMclassthatIhopetoleverageasI
    continuetoimplementtheremainderofmyDreamITactivities.Oneaspectoftheprojectthat
    IwouldchangeistohavebetterstreamlinedtheassignmentssothatIcouldhavegone
    deeperintoeachlearningobjective.IalsowishIhaddocumentedandpostedmore
    successestomywebsite.Imaybecaptured50%ofthelearninginmyclassroom,andIdid
    notregularlycommunicatetheseaccomplishmentsonmyschoolwebsite.
    Lookingforwardtothethirdandfourthquarters,whatremainstobeimplementedare
    severalofthenewtechnologiesthatIhaveacquiredinthesecondquarter.Iwasfortunateto
    receivefundingfromtheSauganashPTAtopurchaseSquishyCircuitsandMakeyMakeykits.I
    havedelayedtheimplementationofbothbecauseIhadsomanyotherprojectsplannedforthe
    secondquarter,includingcatapultandbridgebuildingunits.MyplanistorollouttheSquishy
    CircuitstogradesK2inMarch2015,andIwillbedevelopingaunitonelectricityandthe
    creationofelectricalcircuits.Artefactsandphotoswillbepostedtomywebsitebytheendof
    March.Thissameunitwillberolledouttogrades35attheendofMarchandcompletedin
    earlyApril.TheseartefactswillbepostedtomywebsiteattheendofApril.Aftercompleting
    theSquishyCircuits,IwillrollouttheMakeyMakeykitstogrades35inApril/May.Artefactswill
    bepostedtomywebsiteinMay.
    IhavealsoreceivedfundingforRoboArmsandhydraulicapparatithroughagrant.I
    haveNOideahowtousethemorhowtointegratethemintomycurriculum.Somywildest
    dreamistogettrainedonthesetechnologiesandpilottestthemwithmy5thand6thgradersin
    April/May2015.Iexpecttofullyrolloutthisprograminthefallof2015,asIunderstandthat
    formaltrainingoccursinthesummer.Lastly,SauganashhasagreedtopilottestSTEMonline
    unitsthroughEverFI.IwillberollingoutaChicagoBlackhawksSTEMunittomy5thand6th
    gradersinMarch/April2015,andtheSTEMIgnitionUnittomy7thand8thgradersinMay/June
