Character Creation Short Guide to My Hacks

1. Standard Array: 16 14 14 12 12 10
2. BAB, Saves, Def, Initiative, and Vitality frozen at level 6.

Class Abilities are not frozen at level 6. In other words your characters have all
of the Class Abilities up to level 11.

We wont worry about Lifestyle or Legend yet. I will introduce those later when we
become more comfortable with the system.

Skills: When you select skills ignore Skill Points. You can choose a number of skills
equal to your Classs Skill Points + your Intelligence Bonus. Skill Ranks equal 6. Any
Class Ability such as the Burglars Very, Very Sneaky ability count their level as 6 for
purposes of determining the number. Ie for the Burglar if they failed a Sneak roll they
would count as having rolled a 26. Bonuses fro feats, abilities, etcetera are added as
normal.

Note: Everyone can pick any two skills to add to their potential skill list. These are
called Origin
skills.

Skill Changes: Blend is rolled into Stealth. Lockpicking is removed from


Prestidigitation and is now a Crafting focus.

Dwarves Species Abilities: Ignore Iconic Classes. Ignore Banned Actions. Instead
Jump distances are halved.

8. Feats: see attached List of Allowed Feats and Tricks

Bonus Stuff from Character Level:


-+2 Ability Points
-+4 Feats
-+5 Proficiencies- can be spent on Tricks or Weapon Proficiencies.
-+3 Interests: Start with Dwarven and Common Languages, and a Study in your
native culture or
homeland.
-Interests cover Languages, Studies, and Alignment. Alignment is not necessarily the
same as in
D&D. Though it can include the D&D type alignments it also includes
such things as
allegiance to a deity, a cause, or an organization. Studies are
Lore or Knowledges and should
be defined enough to be useful. Talk with me
about it. We can talk about this if needs be.
