Fundamentals of GI. Spent time learning the basic principles of Geographic Information Systems, and worked
hands-on with ESRI ArcMap during lab sessions and created several maps for projects.
Geography 3426 with Lab (July 2014)
Geography 2426, expanding on the principles of Geography 2426, including an in-depth examination of the
technical aspects involved in spatial data handling, analysis, and modeling for GIS projects.
Geography 3411 with Lab (Fall 2014)
Maps & Mapmaking. Teaches concepts of map making and design, to produce clear and attractive maps that
are ready for professional presentation. The lab utilized Adobe Illustrator to create maps for display.
