: The progress report about project for City Council

Introduction
Our company are doing on landscape for City Council, the progress start from January
2014 until April 2014.
Work completed
At week one, We do the landscape pre-design, then we present the design to the City
Council, we submitted the proposal to City Council, Then we discuss about the design
to City Council, City Council was not happy on overall designing, we make some
correction or redo the design. Then submitted the proposal to City Council,
After submitted the proposal, they was accepted at week 6, Then we discuss
about the raw material ordered, the material are increased their price by 30%, so, we
need to add some budget in the project. We was serve that place to do the preliminary
earthwork by refer at the plan design. Then the material orders are delivered by
suppliers. Some materials were not according to the specifications. We returned to the
suppliers then supplier can deliver again within one week.

Work in progress
When we want to do the project, The bad weather everyday and heavy downpours
almost everyday. Then, we delay the overall progress by 2 weeks. The progress that
we delay are constructing 5 gazebos, constructing water fountain, constructing
jogging/walking track and constructing childrens playground
Work to be completed
The work that we want to completed are, trees planting, grass planting,
furnishing and finishing, project completed and delivery to City Council. This work
must be completed within 1 month.

Budget/Any problems encounter

1. Materials price increased unexpectedly (by 30%)
2. Bad weather and the project was delay on 2 week, at the gantt chart I state it in
yellow plot.
3. Need to hire more workers

Conclusion
After the overall project that we we do, I think on delay the project a good
things because that nature, why we want to do something that can make something
bad to our project. So we make delay not long, just to make sure suitable whether to
do the project. Then, to next work, we need to hire more worker to completed the
project within one month.
