It has been my pleasure to teach Matthew Harrison during his year at Brooklyn
College as he trained in the Advanced Certificate Program in Music Education.
Matthew is mature, serious, responsible and well organized. His contributions to
class discussions were thoughtful and insightful. His assignments were presented on time
and always thoughtfully completed. Matthew is extremely intelligent, thinks critically,
clearly enjoys the learning experience and is truly a life long learner.
He is a talented musician and uses this talent to support his musical instruction.
He brings to the classroom varied life experiences, which are invaluable to todays
student. Mr. Harrison is receptive to feedback and reflects well in his efforts to
continually improve his craft.
Matthew Harrison would be a wonderful, creative, spirited addition to a school
and a creative force in a Music Department
