My Art
In DAVINCI I created an art piece for display. My art connects to the creativity skills, keeping
open, and being original. Therefore I made an easy colorful piece. When I created this piece I
wanted the color and shape to stand out, so I took my time on the color and thickened the lines
for the shape. My art connects to Mrs. Karpells visual arts foundation. In that rotation we learned
about art and how to dig further into the art. By being introduced to The Principles of Design and
The Elements of Art, a process to help us. Ive improved on taking art to a higher level. Mrs.
Karpell gave us requirements that we had to meet, so she gave me the help to create and discover
a new level of art. I picked this piece to show the uniqueness and freedom of DAVINCI because
this is the SLC you get to do things your way.
