Life is....
"Leaving the house in the morning, dressed in clothes that you bought on credit card for work,
driving through the traffic in a car that you are still paying for, putting in petrol that you
cannot afford, in order to get to the job that you hate but need it so badly so that you can pay
for the clothes, car, petrol and the house that you leave empty the whole day, in order to live
in it"

Effective Communication..!!
A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said:
"I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.
A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat.
He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that
everyone who walked by would see the new words.
Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That
afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy
recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning?
What did you write?"
The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way."
What he had written was: "Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it."
Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?
Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was
blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be
surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story:
Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.
Invite others towards good with wisdom. Live life with no excuse and love with no regrets.
When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile. Face
your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without
fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.
Great men say, "Life has to be an incessant process of repair and reconstruction, of discarding
evil and developing goodness. In the journey of life, if you want to travel without fear, you
must have the ticket of a good conscience."
The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling!!
And even more beautiful is, knowing that you are the reason behind it!!!

Subject: Beautiful story must read...
To: smv2004@gmail.com,

Dear all,
Good Morning.
One day Maths teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room
on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the
nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down.
It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the
room, each one handed in the papers.
That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper,
and listed what everyone else had said about that individual.
On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling.
'Really?' she heard whispered. 'I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!' and, 'I didn't
know others liked me so much,' were most of the comments.
No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them
after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its
purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students
moved on.

3
Several years later, one of the students was killed in 'Kargil' war and his teacher attended
the funeral of that special student. She had never attended Funeral of a serviceman before. He
looked so handsome, so mature.
The place was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk. The
teacher was the last one to bless. As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as
pallbearer came up to her. 'Were you Sanjay's math teacher?' he asked. She nodded: 'yes.' Then
he said: 'Sanjay talked about you a lot..'
After the funeral, most of Sanjay's former classmates were there. Sanjay's mother and father
were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher.
'We want to show you something,' his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket 'They
found this on Sanjay when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it.'

Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had
obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking
that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Sanjay's
classmates had said about him.
'Thank you so much for doing that,' Sanjay's mother said. 'As you can see, Sanjay treasured it.'
All of Sanjay's former classmates started to gather around. Arjun smiled rather sheepishly and
said, 'I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home.'
Prithwiraj's wife said, ' Prithwiraj asked me to put his in our wedding album.'
'I have mine too,' Rashmi said. 'It's in my diary'
Then Deepali, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and
showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. 'I carry this with me at all times,' Deepali said
and without batting an eyelash, she continued: 'I think we all saved our lists'
That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Sanjay and for all his friends
who would never see him again.
The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life will end one day. And we
don't know when that one day will be.
So please, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special and important. Tell them,
before it is too late.
And One Way To Accomplish This Is: Forward this message on. If you do not send it, you will
have, once again passed up the wonderful opportunity to do something nice and beautiful.
But its up to U to fwd this one.
If you've received this, it is because someone cares for you and it means there is probably at
least someone for whom you care.

4
If you're 'too busy' to take those few minutes right now to forward this message on, would
this be the VERY first time you didn't do that little thing that would make a difference in your
relationships?
The more people that you send this to, the better you'll be at reaching out to those you care
about.
Remember, you reap what you sow. What you put into the lives of others comes back into
your own.
May Your Day Be Blessed As Special As You
Wishing you a great and happening Day..
Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God
Painful moments, trust God
Every moment, thank God.

down at some place. After the couple got down at some place the bus moved on. As the bus
moved on, a huge rock fell on the bus from the mountain and crushed the bus to crumbs.
Everybody on board was killed. The couple upon seeing that, said, "We wish we were on
that bus." Why do u think they said that?

-------- --------- -- Answer !!!! ------------ ------If they had remained on the bus instead of deciding to get down, the resulting time delay
could have been avoided and the rock would have fallen after the bus had passed ..!!! Think
positive in life always and look for opportunities when u can help Others.
Many times in life, the opposite of Success is not Failure, its Quitting.
Winners never quit, quitters never Win!!
