The first key to write is to write and not to think!
Finding Forrester is an American drama film written by Mike
Rich and published in 2000. The film starts with a black American teenager, Jamal Wallace, when he is invited to be in a prestigious private high school. This character is disciplined, focused, independent, intelligent and persistent. He shows his discipline and intelligence by excelling athletically (basketball) and academically. He shows his focus by his individualized instruction and he shows his independence and persistence by pursuing a career as a writer although people though that he was 'just' an athlete . One day Jamal found a reclusive writer, William Forrester, and they started a friendship which will refine teenagers natural talent for writing and have a successful future in school. In this film we found some techniques that the writer (supposedly J. D. Salinger) used for his work like a draft is written with heart and then the rewritten is with our head. Of course that isnt enough to be a genius like him but it shows what he feels when we are writing and the process of being a good writer. Write what you though its maybe what you want but write your feelings its what you really need
