# ITEM COMMENTS CONTRACTOR
1 Hot and chilled water coils can be pulled out within
the pulled out spaces indicated on the drawings.
2 Pressure/temperature (P/T) taps are supplied and
installed.
3 Coil fins are not damaged or obstructed.
4 Isolation valves are provided for isolation chilled
and hot water supply and returns to the coils.
5 Coils are piped according to the drawings (two way
or 3 way piping).
6 Piping to the coils installed correctly. Counter flow
and water flow upwards.
7 Control valves are installed, sized (check Cv) and
selected based on the contract documents.
8 Automated control valves can be changed to hand
operated manual control in the case of control
failure.
9 Control valves are installed in direction of flow as
marked on the valves.
10 Control valves are installed upright as suggested by
the manufacturer.
11 Control valves are installed in accessible locations
for replacement and maintenance.
12 Manual air vent is installed at high point of the
piping feeding the coils.
13 Coil air vent is furnished with coils.
14 Drain valve is installed for the coils to drain the coil
and piped to the nearest drain.
15 Circuit setter is installed at the return pipe from the
coil as per contract.
16 Chilled water coil’s pan is piped to the nearest floor
drain in Mechanical room.
17 Coils are connected to the piping by flanges or
union.
18 Water piping for dual type coil is piped according to
the drawings.
19 Obtain certificate of inspection for pressure testing
of chilled water piping.
20 Piping is insulated according to the contract for
insulation thickness and type.
21 Obtained balancing report for hot water, chilled
water and condenser water system.
