Raahe: Tasku Island


You can visit in Tasku by
canoe or boat. In winter
you can go there by skiing
on ice - or even by your
car! Tasku is a little island
close to Raahe. In Finnish
Tasku means a pocket.

Raahe: Museum
The museum was built in 1862.
It`s nautical museum.
This museum has about 15,000 objects.
They also have the oldest diving
suit in the world.
It is called Wanha Herra.
That is The Old Gentleman in English.

Raahe: Swimming hall Vesipekka


Vesipekka is a swimming hall. This place is
being re-designed. There is a gym and many
different playing areas.

Lapland: Santa Claus


The one and only The real Santa lives in
Rovaniemi, Finland. You can also see reindeer
and meet elwes there.

Lapland: Ylls
Ylls is a mountain in Lapland. There You can
ski, hike, downhill ski and try some ice-fishing.
There is also a zoo in Ylls - more than
reindeer to see there!

Lapland: Snowcastle in Kemi


This is amazing snow work and there you can
see many cool ice-sculptures. There is also a
ice-hotel and a restaurant.

Helsinki: Linnanmki
Helsinki is the capital of
Finland and Linnanmki is an
amusement park in there. It is
the biggest amusement park
in Finland. There are many
devices. One of them is Kingi,
a free drop device.

Leijonat = The Lions


Leijonat The National Hockey Team of Finland.
They have won world championship twice. Ice
hockey is the most popular sport in Finland.
