Final Project Gender Equality Poll

1. The topic we chose is gender equality. As of now this is a prevalent issue in
society. This topic has sparked much controversy and discussion. As a
president it is your responsibility to ensure that all citizens feel and are equal
to one another as well as ensuring that America is one nation.
2. For the first three questions, we suspect that there will be about an equal
amount of yes and no answers. This is because our first three questions are
our neutral questions. The last two questions will most likely have a majority
of the same answers, since they are bias. The results for the fourth questions
will most likely be mostly yes. Whereas the final question, the answers will
be mostly nos.
3. We decided to conduct most of our surveys face to face. The majority of those
that we surveyed were our classmates. This was because as the future of our
nation it is important to know how they feel about current public policy. We
also surveyed a few older people to represent their views. By surveying them
face-to-face they gave a more honest answer, because they had no time to
think about the question.
4. The questions in our survey:
1. Do you believe there is gender equality in America?
2. Do you believe men and women are paid equally if they have the
same job?
3. Do you think congress should pass legislation to make women equal
to men?
4. Do you think women should stay at home instead of working or
being involved in the community so they can raise a family?
5. Would you vote for equal rights if your mother/sister/female
significant other were to be registered for the draft?
