Also known as: Association football, football, Rugby Football


Origin of name: The name soccer comes from Britain, soccer comes
from the word association, American took the name and Brits parted
with it.
Invented/created by: Soccers origin was from China, the first players
were soldiers who played as a training activity, the activity was called
Tsu-Chu, moved to other countries and finally came to America

BASICS
Objective: Score goals by dribbling the ball down the field into the
opposing teams goal
5 basic rules: No hands allowed, no physical contact with another
player, when throwing a throw in both feet must touch the ground and
overhead, if a foul happens there is a penalty kick, when score is tie
there is a shoot out
number of players: 11 players in each side
scoring system: you score when the ball crosses the goal line between
two goalposts
surface/court/field of play description: the length must be 100-130
yards and the width must be 50-100 yards, goal must be 8 feet tall and
24 feet wide, the halfway line must have a 10 yard circle
