EARLY LIFE

Alecia Moore (P!nk) was born on the 8th of September

1979 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Pink has an older
brother named James Moore and her mum Judith Moore
who worked as a nurse and her dad Jim Moore, a Vietnam
veteran. When Pink was 3 years old her parents divorced
their marriage. Pink is well known for edgy pop music.
When P!nk was a child she had asthma and it helped
develop her singing voice when she got over her asthma.
When P!nk was a P!nk grew up in a musical family with her
dad helping her in her future career by teaching her guitar.
Pink got the name Pink from a movie she saw when she
was a teenager called Reservoir Dogs because all of her
friends said that she resembled a character named Mr.
Pink.

MUSIC CAREER

As early as the age of 13 Pink found solace in music, by

the time she was 14 she was an experienced vocalist and
dancer and started writing her own songs. She had a
regular gig at a Philly nightclub every Friday.
By chance one evening an executive from MCA asked Pink
to audition for an R&B group that was in the making. The
band how-ever the band could never find traction so the
band split up after 2 years.
With all Pink had been through more luck just kept coming
and with the support of LaFace she became a solo artist.
Changing her name from Alecia Moore to her stage name
Pink she started recording her first solo album called Cant
Take Me Home.

During P!nks music career P!nk has realeased 6 albums

including Cant take me home (2000), M!ssundaztood
(2001), Try this (2003), Im not dead (2006), Funhouse
(2008) and her most recent album The truth about love
(2012). Like most artists most of P!nks songs are about
love and breakups, she made her album Funhouse after
she and her husband Carey Hart got a divorce.

P!NKS LIFE NOW

In 2006 P!nk got engaged to her boyfriend Carey Hart

during one of his motocross races when P!nk held up a
sign asking if he would be her husband. Though like her
parents P!nk and Carey Hart broke up in 2008 but shortly
after in 2009 the pair made a public announcement that
they were getting back together.
In 2010 the 31 year old P!nk confirmed on an Ellen
Degeneres Show that she was expecting a baby with
Carey Hart.
Now in 2015 P!nk and her partner Hart has a beautiful
baby girl named Willow. The couple named their daughter
Willow because the trees are tough and cant be broken.
Even though Pinks tough girl image P!nk has a soft spot
for animals and sponsors the P.E.T.A and even asked the
Vogue editors to stop fur in their magazine.
