disorder.

The most common form is osteoarthritis.

The word comes from the Greek arthro-, joint + -itis, inflammation.

In my view the worst kind of Arthritis.

Where your joints deform causing differently shaped joints.

It makes hands look unusual.

It also hurts a lot.

The pictures may make some people squeamish so please look away if you
are.

The most likely people to get it.

Normally over 50 years but it can come as a result of a injury or ailment.

People who overuse there joints.

Rheumatoid arthritis is 66% more likely to affect women.

But children can get it to!!

Arthritis and children
Arthritis is often associated with older people, but it can also affect children. In
the UK, about 15,000 children and young people are affected by arthritis.
Most types of childhood arthritis are known as juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA).
JIA causes pain and inflammation in one or more joints for at least six weeks.
Although the exact cause of JIA is unknown, the symptoms often improve as a
child gets older, meaning they can lead a normal life.
