Death Record: Ann Shehan (wife of Michael J. Hyde)
The Cook County Death Record only lists her as "Mrs. Michael J. Hyde". Therefore her formal given name was
uncertain -- Ann or ?
The record states that she was a married housewife ... born abt. 1836 in London, England ... died on January 25,
1894 {58 yrs.} ... buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery ... (assumed with her husband Michael J. Hyde who died in
1908 and is also buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery).
Side note: Michael J. Hyde married a second time in 1900 to widow Eliza Taylor (both were 60 years old). In
the 1900 U.S. Federal census, Michael J. Hyde was boarding in the Taylors' home on Wentworth Ave., Chicago
and still working as a cooper (barrel maker). And when Michael J. died in 1908, he was again a widower; so the
second wife Eliza also died before him.

ceremony.
