K -1 Team Agenda

1. Studio Updates
a. Share something exciting thats been going on in your studio
with the person sitting next to you.
2. NWEA
a. Update your class list on the shared NWEA file. Also write the
names of the assessments in the order you plan to take each
assessment.
b. Goals- After our second Map assessment (January), use the goal
setting sheet Abe handed out during our last PD. (Dr. Lewis would like
our students to be aware of their individual goals, be creative)
3. Espark
a. Hows it going?
(Kindergarten) Lower Students are having a hard time completing
the videos and going to the correct app. Getting the students to
take and past the post test, sometimes students have a hard time
going back to their quest. (we need a better way for kids to
complete the task through espark may help, since our
students only have 15 min at each station)
b. Where are your students? Patrina has a lot of students who
understand it. However, during station times students are only
able to get through two videos. Kindergartners are becoming
bored watching the videos. Strategies Shared: Reminding
students of their goals, allowing them to take a small break,
showing them the importance of completing a video to unlock
the next level.
