Career Path ( )
Phil is a member of a group called
WongfuProductions. He and his two best
friends, Wesley Chan and Ted Fu, have
been making short-films and quirky videos
and posting them on Youtube since 2003.
The group have been creating content since
meeting in an visual arts they all took in
college. Their fan-base has grown so much
that right now they are currently shooting a
movie and have their own clothing and
stuffed animal brand.

Major Contributions
Philip Wang and the other member of Wong Fu Productions continue to be
influential individuals, acting as a model to allow Asian Americans to
pursue their dreams in the American entertainment industry.
Wong Fu productions as a whole, including Philip Wang, act as a great
representation of the issues and common stereotypes of the Asian
American community.

Major Contributions
Major works that are actually short films and music videos, such as The
Last and A Moment With You and other works has received attention and
millions of viewers worldwide, exploring the current problems of Asian
Americans as well as relationship complications not limited nor ideally
pertaining to a certain ethnic group, thus it has received attention its
viewers outside the Asian population.

Why did we choose him?


We chose to do Philip Wang because of his works involving relatable
content, and on top of that the great representation of the Asian American
community.
His works have become influential and very dynamic with multiple themes
and topics that are clearly unheard of or not often brought up in todays
society and Philip Wang is a great example to talk about of how much him
and the whole Wong Fu Productions group can show success by just a
lucky accident.
Of course it wasnt a lucky accident, it was by hard work and effort in which
him and the rest of WFP produce to entertain their viewers and continue
their influential attitudes.
