Generating ideas for my final major project. I came up with the idea that I wanted to create which is a stop
motion animation in the form of a film trailer.

16/04/15

I finished off my mind-map and created an online survey on survey monkey which I pitched to five of my
peers. I then analysed the results of the survey and created a mood board for the idea that I had chosen;
which was the animation.

17/04/15

I finished off my justification of the idea that I have chosen as well as starting to produce mock ups with an
online Lego creator website and photo-shopping characters into them and writing about each of the sets
and what the characters in the sets do.

20/04/2015

I finished off creating my sets on the online creator and editing them in Photoshop. I then put them all in a
PowerPoint along with all of the key information to my production to send to people to fill out a survey
about how I can improve my production.

22/04/2015

I created an online survey to finalise my ideas for my production and sent it to members of my class. I
then started a power point presentation which talks about all of the criteria for audience research. I got up
to Audience figures.

23/04/2015

I finished off my power point presentation about audience research. I drafted a rough idea of my
production schedule. As well as filling out all of the rest of the research required for LO1. This includes
legislation, crew lists, health and safety, format, and a contingency plan.

24/04/2015

I started my proposal and got up to the section on budgeting. It was 9 pages long by the time I stopped
working on it.

27/04/2015

I finished off my proposal and put together the PowerPoint for my pitch as well as making written prompts
to take with me to help with my production.

28/04/2015

I performed my pitch to my class after rehearsing it at home the night before.

29/04/2015

I created a rough draft of my final storyboard and helped myself see the flow in which my film trailer is
going to take shape.

I drafted my script and just need to collect my sound effects in order to complete the script fully.

I emailed the Lego company and got a reply so that I didnt have any copyright issues when making my
production.
