PRACTICE 1:

1. Everyone has a favorite city. Some people say their favorite city is the city they live in.
But other people choose the best place they have gone on vacation. My favorite city
is_Bandung____because_____the air in the city of Bandung feels very cool and
distinctive. Bandung is in the highlands, it is this atmosphere that makes me want to go
back to Bandung. Starting from panoramic tours, culinary tours to shopping tours are all
available in Bandung. I most like to visit a variety of unique coffee shops, eat typical
food in Bandung and shop at factory outlets. To explore the beauty of every corner of
Bandung, it seems that it is not enough to do just one day

2. Food is an important part of culture and tradition. Some foods are eaten every day, but
other foods are only eaten for special holidays or celebrations.

_bistik__ (name of food) is/are an important part of my culture because this classic
bistik is adapted from the old Dutch cuisine is not only delicious, but also unique. These
steaks are traditionally usually served to kings and other special royal guests. Pieces of
minced meat, sausages, bread, and eggs are mixed into a dough which is then formed,
steamed and then fried in margarine. Now this bistik is everyone’s favorite in Solo.

PRACTICE 2:

JAKARTA, MY LOVE HATES RELATIONSHIP CITY.

It is the capital of the Republic of Indonesia, a major national concern, central of the Indonesia's
history and modern life. Many magnificent tall buildings, highways, highways, malls, shopping
centers, entertainment centers, recreation parks, museums and factories are built. As the capital city of
Jakarta, it has complete infrastructure. Jakarta City as an industrial center has an attraction for people
in the village to transmigrate and work in Jakarta. Jakarta is an area that has an important role in the
history of the Indonesian people. Since the era of Dutch colonialism, Jakarta, then Batavia, was the
center of the Dutch East Indies government. When the national struggle for independence began,
Jakarta was the heart of the movement that pumped the blood of the struggle for independence to all
sides of the country. The life rate in Jakarta is known to be very old. Since at least 2000 BC, the
Jakarta region was already inhabited by humans, that is, at the time of the wave of migration from the
southern region of China. At the beginning of the Christian era, the inhabitants of the Jakarta area
were already in contact with other countries. This is evidenced by the inclusion of Hindu culture
which is known from the many inscriptions in the area around Jakarta, for example inscriptions found
in the Cilincing area. In its heyday of Batavia, known as the 'Jewel of the East', was occupied by the
VOC and later it was finally occupied by the Dutch government which stretched across the eastern
Indian islands. Then during the Japanese occupation in 1942, the name Batavia was changed to
Jakarta.

Bundaran HI (Welcome Monument) is an amazing landmark that dominates the Jakarta skyline. It is
also a popular social gathering place and a place for passive demonstration activities. Inaugurated in
1962, the HI Roundabout was intended to welcome sportsmen who finished competing at the Asian
Games IV. This monument is one of several projects prepared to enhance and beautify the city of
Jakarta before hosting Asian games. Now, enjoy the warm hospitality the city offers to millions of
visitors. Around the pool, a tiled path with a mosaic pattern is a very suitable place to enjoy the beauty
of this monument. Sit by the pool and dip your toes in pool water on a hot day. Watch the fountain do
a dancing fountain show. At night, the pillars and ponds are lit by spectacular lights.

Visit this attraction on Sunday to enjoy Car-Free Day. Starting early in the morning until almost noon,
the main roads that pass through the monument, such as Jalan Thamrin and Jalan Sudirman, become a
special pedestrian zone. Join the locals and tourists who take to the streets for biking, jogging,
boarding and walking. Taste the delicacy of local food at food stalls and enjoy entertainment by street
buskers.

The HI Roundabout is located at the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout in the Menteng area of Central
Jakarta. Public buses stop near the monument, which is on Thamrin Street. The central location of this
monument makes it an appropriate departure point for visiting many other city attractions. You can
shop around to shop at the Grand Indonesia Mall in the surrounding area. You can also enjoy
cocktails at sunset accompanied by stunning views from the 56th floor restaurant of Menara BCA
building.

In addition to having an advantage, Jakarta also has not been spared from endless problems. Starting
from traffic jams, population density, unemployment, crime, the air that is no longer clean, not to
mention the floods that hit the city every year in Jakarta. This is only a handful of cruel little portraits
of living in the nation's capital. DKI Jakarta indeed is still struggling with water-related problems,
where our capital city has not been separated from the problem of flooding during the rainy season
and the scarcity of clean water in the dry season. This problem routinely occurs every year and causes
a lot of losses, especially in economic terms. The problem of flooding in DKI Jakarta is very complex
because it is caused by many things. This condition forces the Jakarta floods to not be solved with
only one solution. However, solutions are needed that are integrated with each other.

A capital city that is never lonely, traffic jams are routinely felt by Jakarta residents. Nowadays
Jakarta is very crowded because many are transmigrating. They are desperate to go to Jakarta to work
without skills. Finally, many of them are unemployed. The number of vehicles in Jakarta exploded
and caused traffic jams. It's so hard to live in Jakarta. Looking for food for everyday is also difficult,
there is crime everywhere. The perpetrators of crime have no conscience towards their fellow human
beings. They have the heart to pick pockets, steal, and even aim at one goal to find a bite of rice and
defend their lives in Jakarta. It is sad that the city of Jakarta, which was made the capital of the State
of Indonesia, should have a safe, peaceful and peaceful situation as an example for other cities in
Indonesia.

It is also known, Jakarta has now experienced various rapid and modern developments. As the
emergence of new modes of transportation that are expected to reduce the level of congestion.
Starting from Transjakarta, MRT, to LRT. However, there are still a number of problems in Jakarta
that must be resolved for a better Jakarta. The longing for a clean, beautiful, neat city of Jakarta is
now the hardest thing to realize, but if we as citizens of Jakarta together want to make Jakarta a clean
and beautiful city, nothing is impossible. However we as citizens of the capital must care for and care
for the city of Jakarta that we love. The government must improve for a better Jakarta in the future.
This is my birth city, the capital of the State of Indonesia, the city of Jakarta.
