YOGYAKARTA DESTINATION CENTER FOR TRAVELERS

Yogyakarta is an city that has a lot of historical heritage and also endless natural beauty.
Of course, this makes Yogyakarta one of the three most visited areas in Indonesian. The natural
beauty, especially the temple as a historical relic, is the hallmark and main attraction in this
area. There are so many domestic and foreign tourists who make the Yogyakarta area an
unforgettable tourist destination. Tours to the Yogyakarta area automatically become the dream
of students at the school. They always make Yogyakarta an unforgettable destination that must
always be visited at least once in a lifetime.

Yogyakarta, or what used to be an area included in the Mataram state, is now part of
the larger city of Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta is an city that was formed due to the Gianti
agreement, which at that time contained the agreement of the Mataram state being divided into
two. The Special Region of Yogyakarta is also the second oldest region in Indonesia after East
Java, which was formed by the Indonesian state government.

I've visited Yogyakarta for the second time in 2019. To get to Yogyakarta, we have to
travel for 1 night. This is, of course, due to the distance and also the vehicle we use. The
distance from our school to our destination is approximately 360 km, so it takes 9 hours to get
there by bus. While traveling, the cold air never stopped hitting my body, not to mention the
view of the street at night which was very quiet, adding to the quiet atmosphere at that time.

Yogyakarta is a bustling and beautiful place. That's the only word that can be used to
describe the state of Yogyakarta at that time. The air that hits my skin tends to be dry and hot,
but this does not detract from the beauty of Yogyakarta at that time. There are so many
historical relics here, and of course, it is proof that Indonesia does have a lot of cultural and
historical heritage. One example is the Borobudur temple, Prambanan temple, Sewu temple,
and Ratu Boko temple.

There is one tourist destination in Yogyakarta that makes me feel very happy when I
am there, namely the Vredeburg Fort Museum. That's because this museum is very closely
related to historical values and the objects in it make us able to imagine and feel the experience
as if we were experiencing events that happened in the past. When we see the antique objects
on display there, we will automatically be carried away by old memories of the events that
occurred at that time. Moreover, the museum offers museum tour guide services, which of
course can add to our knowledge of those who use their services.

In conclusion, Yogyakarta is an city full of meaning. Lots of people are interested in

coming to this place and I am one of them. The natural beauty, tourist attractions, and historical
heritage temples that exist further add to the advantages of this place. Anyone who comes to
this place will feel entertained and happy to be there.
