The most unforgetable (vacation / holiday)

Hello friends my name is Supriyadi Aditya permana. I was born in Jakarta 25October 2001. I
live in West Jakarta, to be precise my address is At jl Palmerah barat street Rt 09 Rw 007. I
spent my adolescence in Palmerah and I finished high school education in the year twothousand
and nineteen (2019). I have many hobbies, Such as playing futsal,soccer, swimming, running and
traveling. But among all of my hobbies, I really like traveling. Because with traveling, not only
the pleasure I get, but I can also get a lots of experiences When I was in school, I really enjoyed
playing with my friends and I Visited many interesting places with them like beaches, mountains
, and etc. However, I tend to visit many historical places like monumens, museums or
hometowns with my lovely brother.

From that experience I got alot of things, I could know the history of the cities I had visited, I
could know the customs of the cities I had visited, and I could see natural beauty that was truly
extraordinary, such as thebeauty of the mountains and beautiful beaches. there were many happy
and sad moments . but one things for sure, it will be a memory that I will never forget in my life.
Among all those experiences, I have one holiday moment that can not be forgotten for the rest of
my life. It was me and my brother on vacation to Jogjakarta in 2015.

Beginning of the story

During school holidays, when my sister and I wanted to go on vacation. At that time, there were
several choices of places for us to visit with my brother. First, we wanted to go to Puncak
Cisarua Bogor. second, we also wanted to go to Bali. The last option was to visit Jogjakarta.
After a long discussion and argument, we finally decide to take a trip to Jogjakarta. We decided
to go there by train because it was cheap. For your information, we were still students, we could
only use our pocket money and some of our savings.
Sunny morning, we went to the station to buy train tickets and when I was at the train station, I
did not expect many people to want to have a vacation to Yogyakarta, so the queue was very
long, crowded and pressing.We queued patiently to buy tickets, not long in line to buy tickets
then we got the tickets.Then we got into the carriage and sat in the place indicated on the number
on the ticket. A train that departed from Jakarta to Jogjakarta took about twelve hours. and We
planned to go there for a week. When we arrived in Jogjakarta, we go went straight to the
lodging we ordered, the name of the place to stay, namely the Matahari Hotel. Arriving at the
hotel, we clean and rest before taking a walk in this peaceful city. on our first visit to Jogjakarta
we visited the palace there we can see historical objects in Jogjakarta, we can see the legacy of
the previous Jogjakarta kingdom, so we get knowledge and so we can know the history of
Jogjakarta clearly. After leaving the palace, we really wanted to taste the typical culinary of the
city of Jogjakjarta, namely empal gentong. we ate up to two more times because this food is very
delicious and rarely found in other places besides Jogjakarta because this food is typical
Jogjakarta food.

Our next visit we went to a very beautiful place which is so enchanting namely Borobudur
Temple. We did not expect that at Borobudur Temple many foreign tourists would go there, then
we had a dialogue with tourists so that we knew the tourists were from England. In this
Borobudur temple the place is very wide and filled with lush trees, but in the area near the
Borobudur temple there is very little shade, so when it rains we take shelter under shady trees.
after from Borobudur temple we go to Breksi cliff there the place is very beautiful we can see a
very good cliff, this Breksi cliff is located on top of the hills. and then our last visit to Mount
Merapi, while at Mount Merapi we drove a jeep to the top of the mountain. It turns out that there
are so many obstacles when we go to the top of the mountain we pass rivers and roads full of
rocks. we have to use a mask when riding a jeep because there is a lot of dust. It's been three
hours since we rode in a jeep, then we arrived at the top of Mount Merapi. We are very happy to
see the natural beauty that is truly extraordinary, from the top of the mountain we can see the
beauty of Jogjakarta. after that we returned to the hotel, and it was already evening we wanted to
go to the malioboro market, who doesn't know about the malioboro market. we at the malioboro
market shop for jogja typical clothes, negligee, and other knick-knacks. And I don't forget to buy
souvenirs for the people in my house to buy bapia cakes. after that we walked on the side of the
Malioboro road and took pictures there.
