 VACATION TO YOGYAKARTA CITY

This year's Christmas holiday, my family and I went on vacation to the city of Yogyakarta, a city known
as a special area. Many interesting stories that I get when I will go to this city. Before choosing Jogja as a
vacation destination, of course, my family and I discussed first which city we would go to, and Jogja was
chosen as our vacation spot during the Christmas holidays.

I went to yogya with my extended family, of course all this must be full of planning. Starting from
departing transportation, lodging, transportation home and of course which destinations we will visit. We
have planned this holiday well before the departure or before the Christmas holiday, because considering
that the tickets at Christmas have already been ordered by people who want to go home. We spent this
holiday in Jogja for 3 days 2 nights.

We left for yogya on thursday (before international christmas) using the car we ordered online to take us
to kualanamun airport, we departed from home at 05:00 and arrived at kualanamun at 10:00 and arrived in
yogya at 14:00 . This trip must have been very fun in my opinion, because I could see the clouds in the
sky and the view from the sky and also my first experience on a plane. Even though it was only from the
plane's window, it was very enjoyable.

At that time, we got off at Yogyakarta Adisutjipto International Airport. After that we immediately looked
for a taxi to the hotel, after arriving at the hotel we immediately rested for a while and packed our things.
After that we went straight to the station towards Malioboro Street. Happy mixed up when I was about to
arrive in Yogya, I was able to meet a sign that reads “Jalan Malioboro”. Wow, this is a very famous road
in Yogyakarta. We planned to take pictures on the street, after that we went looking for food because our
stomachs were very hungry we went straight down Malioboro street. And when we arrived at one of the
angkrinan, I bought 7 packs of rice, mixed with fried tofu intestine, and drank it with warm milk. After
finishing eating I was a little surprised that the total price I ate was only Rp. 49,000 only. It's pretty cheap
compared to Medan. In Malioboro we rode bicycles around Malioboro while taking pictures to share this
beautiful moment with our family. At night, the Malioboro area is busier and more beautiful than the
afternoon. After spending a long time in Malioboro until 23:45 we headed to the hotel to rest and recharge
for the next day.

The next day we were ready and left for Prambanan Temple. Our next destination was to go straight to
Prambanan Temple. Along the way to Prambanan temple, we used the Transyogya busway number A1 to
Prambanan temple, the cost was only Rp. 3,500 only (same as Transmedan, only the stop is still the same
as other public buses).

From the hotel road to the Prambanan temple, the journey takes about 1 hour because the roads are quite
busy and congested. Then we arrived at Prambanan temple, and we bought tickets with the Prambanan
temple and Ratu Boko package at a price of 75,000. We entered the Prambanan temple, it was very
crowded but paid off with its beauty. Another main temple in Prambanan is Candi Apit. Named Candi
Apit because of the location of the two facing each other. One temple is in the north and the other is in the
south. One of the Prambanan Temple tours is arguably the highest size here, which is 16 m. Unlike the
others, Candi Apit does not have a corridor on the surface. When found, the Apit Temple needed repairs
and it looked even more beautiful after being rebuilt. When you visit Prambanan, don't miss the
opportunity to watch the Prambanan Ramayana Ballet. The show combines many aspects, such as dance,
performing arts, and colossal stage arrangements. This show tells the story of Ramayana trying to get
Dewi Shinta.

For those of you who want to watch the show, you can come to Prambanan every Tuesday, Thursday and
Saturday from 19.30 to 21.30 WIB. Meanwhile, for the tickets themselves, they are divided into several
classes such as Class 2 for Rp. 125,000, class 1 for Rp. 200,000, special for Rp. 300,000 and VIP for Rp.
400,000. You can get all these tickets online, third parties to buy them directly at the venue. There are
various kinds of exciting activities that you can do in Prambanan, one of which is photo hunting. The
courtyard is wide enough to make the Prambanan temple tour a photo object with a beautiful landscape.
The view of Prambanan is even more beautiful at night with decorative spotlights that point directly to the
existing temples. But unfortunately we didn't get to the night there because it worked our route Langsug
went to the next tour.
After being tired of walking around, I and the winking seemed to be incomplete if it did not bring a hand.
Around Prambanan itself there are many kiosks that sell prambanous souvenirs, such as shirts, key chains,
bracelets to necklaces.
In addition to photo hunting, we can also enjoy the beauty of the Prambanan complex on foot. Arrog with
a complex yard, you will see a scene of all green from the gardens here. You can also see from near the
relief in this temple.

After that we went to Queen Boko temple

After we went around in Prambanan Temple, then we went to Queen Boko temple. Because we bought a
ticket with the Prambanan Queen Boko package, we provided a travel car to go to Queen Boko temple
because the distance was quite far from Prambanan Temple.

Boko's queen can see the height around the temple, because the area on the hill makes its own beauty for
those who come to this temple especially if it comes in the afternoon and before the sunset is definitely the
beauty increases.

From the Queen Boko temple, we boarded the travel bus back to its original place, Prambanan Temple
after that we headed to the exit. And outside the prambanan temple area there are so many who sell
souvenirs, we stopped by briefly to look at first. However, because the price was cheap, we were tempted
to buy souvenirs like hangers (1000an prices), batik pants, Yogya shirts and Yogya specialties like Bakpia
hehehe.

Because I didn't know the time, at 7pm we could only return home with the aim of the hotel or inn. From
the Prambanan Temple we climbed the transyogya towards Jalan Malioboro because of our lodging on
Jalan Dagen very close to Malioboro. Because of the jammed journey, we just arrived at the hotel around
8pm. After arriving, we immediately sorted out and cleaned the body. Because it hasn't rested at all, we
then decided to sleep first at half past half of 9 nights we proceeded to look for dinner and go to the
Yogyakarta palace.

Gudeg Bu Hj Rini and Keraton Yogyakarta

Exactly at half past 9 a night, we left the hotel and walked down the Malioboro road. Very crowded and
certainly impressive. There are so many other backpakers and foreign tourists who are on vacation in
Yogyakarta. Besides that many veins both food and clothing. From Jalan Malioboro it doesn't feel we
walked to Kidul Keraton Yogyakarta. Because our stomach is empty, then our first goal is to find food.

Because Yogya's typical food is gudeg, we try to find traders who sell warm food. After we searched on
Instagram, we met us with Gudeg Bu Hj Rini. And fortunately it is located not far from the yogya palace,
namely on Jalan Wijilan. WIEST WIJAAN A lot that sells gudeg, because indeed this road is a special
that sells Yogya specialties, which is gudeg. This gudeg bu hj rini besides it tastes good and not too sweet
the price is cheap. I ordered 1 portion of gudeg with eggs and tempeh for Rp. 13,000 just plus sweet ice
tea for 5 thousand.

After full, we went to the Yogyakarta Palace which was very famous for the twin banyan trees. And I also
tried to pass it. In Yogya there are many unique things, no regrets I visit this special area. This city is
really special in our family.

The next day we went to Borobudur Temple after breakfast. After my mamak was lining up at the counter
to buy an entrance ticket. FYI, the ticket price enters Borobudur Temple for domestic visitors in the
amount of Rp. 40,000, - (Adults) and Rp. 20,000 (child aged <10 years). There are also canal ticket offers
for two tourist objects consisting of Borobudur-Prambanan and Borobudur-Queen Boko. With a ticket
price of Rp. 75,000 (adulments) and Rp. 35,000 (child aged <10 years), we can enter the two tourist
attractions at the same time with the validity period of the ticket 3 (three) days. Since this time the holiday
invited him and height and weighing the distance from the entrance to the ticket inspection to the location
of the Borobudur temple quite far, my family and want to increase the Tayo bus, also used the shuttle bus
transportation facility called "Tayo car" because the shape looks like a cartoon Tayo bus. The ticket price
is Rp. 15,000 / person. In addition to Tayo cars, there are also other transportation facilities provided in
the temple area including a train car, Volkswagen cars with hoods that can be opened, golf cars and trains.
We are a family looks enjoying Tayo's car to the temple area, the atmosphere is quite cool across the trees
Shady and green grass. Unlike Eve at the top level of Borobudur Temple, it turns out that the visitors are
crowded even though the sun has shown its existence. To find a lonely spot spot a little difficult because
of the many visitors. But we don't mind that, we keep looking for a place where it is suitable for taking
pictures and devoting our photos. We went around long enough, we went down and enjoyed the splendor
of the Borobudur temple from the bottom. Standing in the southeast corner of Borobudur Temple, I
enjoyed the karmawibhangga relief. Relief describes the law because of the effect and picture of the
human being that is still bound by a worldly passion. Other carved reliefs that can be seen include Lalita
Wistara, Jataka and Awanda and Gandawyuda. The biggest Buddhist building in this homeland is
unbiased.
After finishing going around in the temple area, it's time to go home. The journey to the parking location
we want to travel using the Andong train that is near the Temple's exit. The ticket price is quite
astonishing, which is Rp. 150,000, - for 1 andong. After that we returned to Hotol to rest and fill the
energy again for tomorrow.

Tomorrow we are preparing to go to Jakarta by bus to visit your house from Mamak. And spend our 2
week vacation there until finished new year. After 2 weeks in my Jakarta and family back to Medan using
the plane. This is my very pleasant holiday experience all the time.
