The Gemini
It is quite unique and it somewhat floats on your tongue like a fishes fin in the ocean. The
name Cianna in Italian means, God is gracious. Im not any type of Italian descent, so I figured
my parents didnt put much time into my name. Come to find out itll be that way for the rest of
my life. In English Cianna means never capable of correcting my parents mistakes. The name
Kristoff means, bearing Christ. Although there is no doubt that Im qualified to be a Kristoff, Im
not worthy enough to grip onto the name Cianna. Personally, I like my name but it seems every
time somebody is calling my name Im being looked down on once again.
My father was watching a beauty pageant when he first heard the name and liked it. Im
taking it my mom did too. Im the prodigy of an aggressive alcoholic and a violent drug attic, so
thats how others view me. I had an image for myself even before June 9th, 1999 came. Nobody
really knows me, Im referred to as Markies daughter, in other words the black sheep. Im
hidden under the lies and masked in a disguise. Im like the first piece of bread that everybody
skips over. Im just another nobody and weather I attempt to make a name for myself or not itll
never change. Maybe one day Ill learn to love and be comfortable with my name but for now
Im just a name that has no meaning behind it, unless you look at the long list of felons on the
Kristoff tree.
