MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS: PLOT

The story took place in a train Trip from Turkey to France and began when a
passenger is found murdered in his own compartment. When Pierre Michel, who
was the trains conductor, found out about the murder, he inmediately told this
to Mr. Bouc, who worked for the company that ran the Orient Express. By
chance, a famous detective was in this train, whose name was Hercule Poirot.
Mr. Bouc took the advantage of the relationship between him and the
detective, because they knew each other from before, and asked him for help
in order to take the case and try to solve it. Mr. Bouc explained to Poirot that it
would be better if the case was already solved when the Police arrived in order
to avoid problems and delays. Mr. Poirot accepted the case willingly.
At the first part of the investigation, the detective decided to examine the body
of the murdered person and the crime scene, where he found several clues.
Then he continued with the interviews of every single passenger that were on
the train during the night of the murder. At the end of the story, he could
discover that none was who said to be, because this case was connected with
another one: the Amstrongs Case, that happened in America, when a little girl
was kidnapped by a team of gangsters, whose leader was the victim on the
train. Although her parents had paid the money the kidnappers asked for, they
killed the girl anyway. The Amstrong family was completely destroyed after this
tragedy and the leader of the gangsters team used his power and money to
escape from the laws punishment, although there was no doubt about his
guiltiness. Consequently, the detective, thought about two possible solutions
for the case and asked Mr. Bouc and Dr. Constantine, who examined the
victims body at the first time, to decide about which of the solutions were the
right one, when he explained them to the passengers in the restaurant
carriage.
