BLUE BELT & ABOVE

EVALUATION REQUIREMENTS
Students will be evaluated on the following:
1) Good Form (Technique)
2) Coordination and Balance
3) Focus
4) Speed
5) Power
6) Kiai
All belts will be asked to demonstrate various Self-Defense escapes from specific attacks up to
their rank level.
Blue Belts - 7 Combinations, each having at least 5 techniques. Must know the breakaways
from: A. Same side wrist grab. B. Opposite side wrist grab. C. 2 hands on 1 wrist. D. 2 hands on
2 wrists.
Red Belts - 8 Combinations. Know Kick Run #2. Must know the breakaways from: A. Bearhug
from rear, arms unpinned. B. Bearhug from rear, arms pinned. C. Bearhug from front, arms
unpinned. D. Bearhug from front, arms pinned.
1st Degree Brown Belt - 10 Combinations & 1 Form. Demonstrate Hand Run and Kick Run #1
& #2 in good form. Must know the breakaways from: A. Shoulder grab from the front. B.
Shoulder grab from the rear. C. 1 hand lapel grab. D. 2 hand lapel grab.
2nd Degree Brown Belt - 10 Combinations & 1 Form. Demonstrate Hand Run and Kick Run #1
& #2 in good form. Demonstrate Hand Run in excellent form. Must know the breakaways from:
A. Choke from the front. B. Choke from the rear. C. Rear Stranglehold. D. Headlock.
3rd Degree Brown Belt - 10 Combinations & 1 Form. Demonstrate Hand Run and Kick Run #1
& #2 in excellent form. Demonstrate Hand Run in excellent form. Must know the breakaways
from: A. Hair grab from the front. B. Hair grab from the rear. C. Double wrist grab from the rear.
D. Full Nelson.

Turning Heel Hook Kick Stepping Forward into a Side Stance-(right) Skip Front Foot Heel Hook

Forward-(left) Skip Front Foot Snap Kick into a Front Stance, Back Foot (right) Turning
