Whatdoestheendingsuggestandsymbolize?

Theendingofthestorysignifieshisreturntonormallifeandatthesametime
comparesthepandesalbreadtotheunnamedprotagonist.
Inthestory,itwasmentionedthattheoldfashionedtasteofthepandesalwas
salty unlike today where its sweet and creamy. This can be likened when the
embarrassmentofAidaseeinghimhidingfoodfromthepartytriggersanepiphany
whichismuchlikethatofPaninDoorForever.Theboyleavesthesceneoutofthe
humiliationanddecidestogobuypandesalhowevertohisdismay,thebreadwas
notyetquiteready.Thebreadjustliketheboywasnotmatureenoughandtherefore
thebreadhasnotyetacquireditssweetandcreamytestbutisstillsalty.Thetextis
consideredacomingofagestorybecauseitsignifiestheinnocenceoftheboyand
howitisnotpreparedtofacetherealitiesoftheworldandunderstanditsstruggles.
Howeverwecanseethattheboyhasslightlymaturedthroughbuyingthebreadwith
hisownmoney.
Anotherinterpretationoftheendingcanbehowtheprotagonistlefttheparty
andreturnedtothesimplicityofhislifeafterlosingtheobsessionwithAida.His

normalroutineofbuyingthebreadisonceagainseenintheendingandperhapshis
lifewillreturnthewayitusedtobebeforemeetingAida.
